Our CBD Heat Balm, takes all the ingredients from the well know Tiger Balm, but with the added CBD infusion this formula is designed to enhance the potency of a regular tiger balm providing immediate relief, and a gentle warming sensation

When CBD is applied topically directly to the skin, as a CBD Balm it doesn’t reach the bloodstream but can be absorbed through the skin’s surface to interact with nearby cannabinoid receptors.

Human skin in general has low permeability, which means it blocks most substances from entering. The skin has a particularly low absorption rate for cannabinoids, so application of CBD balms, salves, and lotions need to be heavy enough to overcome this barrier. However, when applied liberally, CBD is permeable to the skin through its pores.

Finally, you have receptors called TrpV1 in your body that keep track of your body temperature. When triggered they generate heat, which can soothe pain receptors. Using this method, CBD can cause these receptors to be hyperactive for a period of time, causing the pain receptors to get hot, and desensitise them. Meaning if they’re desensitised, they can’t detect pain.

Usage
Glide the tips of your fingers over the balm. The body heat from your fingers will allow the balm to adhere to the fingertips. Cover the chosen area with a thin layer of this product and rub gently into the skin.

Petrolatum, Menthol, Cinnamomum Camphora (Camphor) Bark Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Squalene, Limonene, Eugenol, Cannabidiol, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Bud Oil, Isoeugenol, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Geraniol, Linalool.
